ABSOLUTELY THE BEST 65 ON THE MARKET TODAY. I TRUELY BELIEVE THIS. We aren't national riders but my son has won 2 state championships on his 06 65 & 07 65. They both have a bunch of riding hours on them and they run like clock work. He made it through a Lorretta's qualifier on them, qualified for the 2008 Arena cross world finals in Vegas on the same bikes and plans to that again here 2010. finished 13th overall that year....(not to bad considering our winter riding pattern here in South Dakota....we can ride/practice and race about 7 months out of the year). Regionally he is always at the front if not leading the 10/11 65 classes...against all the japs, cobra & KTM & all there goodies.

On the parts thing.....don't let anybody tell you that parts are a problem. We (you will also) have no issues, John Wilson - Bob @ BC racing and our local dealer MX Connection can get whatever we might need overnight if needed. No you wont find LEM listed in the catalogs and mags for swag, aftermarket parts, goodies and the like, but make no mistake PARTS ARE NOT A PROBLEM FOR LEM OWNERS. These bikes and thier components are second to NONE. Very durable and fast.

Get your suspension done...be some of the best dollars you'll spend.

They will ask you, at every track.....whats that bike? My son Alex, likes to answer that by kicking butt on the track. It has always made believers out of the mainstreamers at award time. I just answer them with this "it's the best stock 65 ever made and you would be wise to buy one." The dealers/shop owners have quit asking if Alex would like to try one of their bikes, because they know their stuff, no matter the color, can't compare to the reliability, quality and durablility of the LEM 65.

ps. always rib the other guys at the track, afterall if you can't have some fun...why go?

I often think about the 50/65cc worlds, and what it would look like if the marketing and promotion machine that drives the orange, yellows & green bikes was doing the same with LEM. It would dominate everywhere with that kind of support and promotion. Until that day we LEM owners have to stay strong and keep believing in these bikes.

BUY THE LEM 65 and stop wasting time looking around.

Happy New Year everybody, Todd

well said. My son rides a 2002 LEM water cooled. Looks brand new. Black plastic, new graphics. Has a ton of power out of the gate, Love the look but I too have thought about going to a Cobra because there are parts available at every race. The LEM's are also bigger than the other brands which is a little harder on my son. I have decided this week to buy a very nice 2004 R3 and swap the motor and exhaust on my 02 and then swap them back at the end of the year when my kid moves up. I wish there were more of us LEM owners out there for help if needed at the tracks. It would be a little easier on us, but maybe that will come. I think LEM the factory should step up and make it easier on us. Maybe some incentives:)

If your gonna buy one stay away from 06 and older, all the changes in 07 were a must. Bike is very dependable u may have to watch the frame for cracking .Definately is a bullet, we have raced a few big races (Ponca 09) and did well for a first national. Suspension is key, parts have never been a issue and we have ran LEM from age 4-11 and wouldn't change a thing. Plan on being in Ponca and Branson in 2010, look us up if your there (Dalton Temmen #333) Don't be a puss and buy orange!!!!!!
